Wikipedia:WikiProject Stolpersteine/Stolpersteine in Zala County
Stolpersteine is the German name for stumbling blocks collocated all over Europe by German artist Gunter Demnig. They remember the fate of the victims of Nazi Germany being murdered, deported, exiled or driven to suicide. The first Stolperstein collocactions in the Zala County (Hungarian: Zala megye, pronounced [ˈzɒlɒ]; Croatian: Zalska županija; [županija Zala] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) took place in Nagykanizsa and Zalaegerszeg on 28 August 2007. Usually the Stolpersteine are placed in front of the last self-chosen residence of the victim. Their name in Hungarian is botlatókő.
In Hungarian, the family name is always put on first place. There is also the tradition that married women bear first and family name of their husbands - with the additional suffix -né after the first name of their husband. The wife of Bónis Adolf therefore is called Bónis Adolfné. Mostly on the Stolperstein the woman's birth name is engraved in the line below.
The lists are sortable; the basic order follows the alphabet according to the last name of the victim.

Orosztony), the daughter of ornithologist Gáspár Kohn. The couple had three children, Helen (b. 16 June 1903 in Zalaegerszeg), Margit (born on 7 October 1904 in Zalaegerszeg) and Michael (b. 1908).[3] In the course of the year 1944, Frigyes Schücz, his wife, his daughter Margit, both his sons-in-law, Dr. János Hoffmann and Sándor Szász, sister Szelina or Szeren Pápai and also his grandchildren Gazsi, Edit, András and Sándor were all deported to Auschwitz concentration camp and murdered by the Nazi regime.[4] Yad Vashem lists the 4 August 1944 as day of his death. His wife had already died on 8 July 1944, also in Auschwitz.[5][6][7]
His daughter Helen Hoffmann was most probabely starved to death at Retzow, a sub-camp of Ravensbrück concentration camp. She died on 20 April 1945.[8][9] At least his granddaughters Ila Schütz (1944-2002) and Judit Varga Hoffmann could survive the Shoah. | Frigyes Schücz, also Schütz, was born on 7 July 1873 in Zalaegerszeg to Sándor Schütz (1843–1924) and Kunigunda Tenczer (1847-1928). In 1900, the company Schütz Sándor és Fia (Schütz Sándor and son) was founded. It's main activity was the production of red, shiny and blue varnish. According to the press release Frigyes Schücz had perfected his professional skills abroad. In 1902 he married Erzsébet Kohn (born on 4 April 1884 in
