Star Trek is a science fiction universe created by Gene Roddenberry in the mid-1960s. The term Star Trek collectively refers to seven science fiction/fantasy television series spanning 754 episodes, thirteen motion pictures and hundreds of novels as of August 2nd, 2019. As well, there are Star Trek table-top role-playing games, trading card games, console and computer video games, action figures and model kit spaceships, and other works of fiction.

WikiProject Star Trek was formed to foster the creation and improvement of Star Trek-related articles, and to establish guidelines for those articles. Its members endeavor to produce an authoritative reference on Star Trek materials (canon and non-canon), which is easy to read and has a consistent style. The goal is for our articles to live long and prosper.
