Damien Fonoti (born 4 December 1987 in Samoa) is a footballer who plays as a right back. He is a cousin of Australian professional footballer Tim Cahill.[1]
Fonoti was educated at Mount Albert Grammar School.[1] He played for the Mount Albert Grammar School football team,[2] winning the golden boot in 2005.[3] He later played for Waikato, and for Waitakere City in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Premier.[4] In 2007 he was selected for the Samoa national under-20 football team for the 2007 OFC U-20 Championship.[1] He scored a goal in Samoa's 7-nil victory over American Samoa.[5]
