Project banner
[edit]The {{WikiProject Primates}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:
{{WikiProject Primates
|class=
|importance=
|attention=
|needs-photo=
|needs-audio=
|collaboration-candidate=
|past-collaboration=
|peer-review=
|old-peer-review=
|orphan=
}}
General parameters:
- class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
- importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
- attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
- needs-photo – "yes" if the article could benefit from having a photograph but currently does not have one.
- needs-audio – "yes" if the article could benefit from having audio files but currently does not have any.
- collaboration-candidate – "yes" if the article is currently a candidate for project collaboration.
- past-collaboration – "yes" if the article was previously a project collaboration.
- peer-review – "yes" if the article is currently listed on the project's peer review department.
- old-peer-review – "yes" if the article was previously listed on the project's peer review department.
- orphan – "yes" if the article is not currently supported by the Primates WikiProject.
To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
