Wikipedia:WikiProject Palaeontology/Extinct Lizards

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Extinct Squamate Taskforce hopes to improve articles pertaining to a wide number of extinct lizards, particularly Huehuecuetzpalli. These assessments are by WikiProject Palaeontology.

Goals

[edit]

This task force is dedicated to sorting out errors in articles about extinct lizards. A good example of this is Huehuecuetzpalli, which (until earlier) had no sections, no discussion of the lizard's phylogeny, or anything. This belongs in WikiProject Palaeontology for the sole reason that it exclusively involves extinct squamates. As lizards are (technically) paraphyletic, any squamate can be covered here. Because every good task force needs a userbox, right? After all, if the Lobe-Fin taskforce can have one, why can't this? Borophagus (talk) 17:29, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
