Any driver who has raced in any of NASCAR's top-tier series should have the {{Infobox NASCAR driver}} template on their page. (Example taken and modified from Mark Martin - don't worry, he's not dead!) Notes:

  • The only variable that is required is the Name variable (but it's useless without other variables).
  • All dates must be in wikilinked, in order for the wiki system to recognize it as a date.
  • The First_SERIES_Race variable must have data, or the other variables for that series will not appear.
  • Only use the variables Last_SERIES_Race, Total_SERIES_Races, and Years_In_SERIES for a driver who has retired from that series.
  • Obviously, only use the Died and Cause of Death variables for deceased drivers.
  • All pages that linked to the old driver templates have been updated.

We are using the standard infobox used around the world. We need to convert the miles length of the track into kilometers so the infobox length works. You can convert the distance by typing in "Convert 0.5 mile to kilometers" into your search engine to find the distance. Round it to maybe one place after the decimal point.
