I'm adding this article to be peer reviewed because I've attempted to address the concerns to elevate this to B-Class but I'm unclear what else to change/add. There are inline citations and I need more guidance on omissions, if there are any please document them and I can add them to the article. Thanks. Kirk (talk) 22:09, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Here are my two cents on the topic. I am not a expert on the topic so may not be able to provide much comments on the omissions. I can help to make it B-Class worthy.
- The lead is too short. Please refer to WP:LEAD for an idea.
- The images need to be listed on the right according to WP:IMAGE.
- Both US officer ranks and US_armed_forces_insignia_navigation need to be at the bottom of the article after References. As it stands they are in the Section above References. Same with Commissioned Officer ranks.
- Its a good Idea to list the references in accordance with one of the two citation Styles See WP:CITE. For examples, see B-52 Stratofortress. Please also apply Cite:WEB.
- There are citations in the middle of a Paragraph. Best to put them at the end of the same.
- When covering multiple countries and their variations, its best to start the section with Country name. See BF 109 Operational History
- Since this is English language encyclopedia, its best to put non-english word in Italics inside parenthesis with English translation before the parenthesis. Ex. aspirant (garde marine). I don't like this convention myself. But that's another matter.
- Seven references seem a short number. Could you at least try and get the maximum out of those ?
