Welcome to the seventh edition of the Bugle for 2018!
As always, you can find the project's new featured and A-class articles in our article news section. The book reviews section features a selection of recent external reviews. Regular contributor TomStar81 gives us two articles on World War I: a huge op-ed on the murder of the Romanov family in Russia, and his monthly timeline of events that took place during the war 100 years ago this month.
The contest department completed its 132nd round of competition in June 2018. A total of 50 articles were submitted by 10 editors. Gog the Mild came first with 88 points from 14 articles, and AustralianRupert came in second with 40 points from 10 articles. Gog the Mild has been awarded the Chevrons and AustralianRupert has received the Writer's Barnstar. An honorable mention goes to Kges1901, who narrowly came third with 32 points from 6 articles. Catlemur, Chetsford, Djmaschek, Iazyges, Parsecboy, Peacemaker67 and Zawed also fielded entries.
