Welcome to the assessment department of the Home Living WikiProject. This department was made to assess and grade the quality and importance of articles related to homes. The main purpose of the Assessment Department is to recognise excellent articles and to identify articles that might need more work or could be improvement.

How can I get an article rated?

Add the WikiProject banner {{WPHomeliving}} to the talk page.

Who can assess articles?

Any member of the Home Living WikiProject is free to add or change the rating of an article. Please note that the FA class needs to be assessed by the community, and need consensus for promotion.

Someone put a {{WPHomeliving}} template on an article, but it's not a Home-related article. What should I do?

Feel free to remove the template, if it is improperly placed.

An article's quality assessment is generated from the class parameter in the {{WikiProject Banner Shell}}. Articles that have the {{WPHomeliving}} project banner on their talk page will be added to the appropriate categories by quality.

The following values may be used for the class parameter to describe the quality of the article (see Wikipedia:Content assessment for assessment criteria):

FA (for featured articles only; adds articles to Category:FA-Class home articles)  FA
A (adds articles to Category:A-Class home articles)  A
GA (for good articles only; adds articles to Category:GA-Class home articles)  GA
B (adds articles to Category:B-Class home articles) B
C (adds articles to Category:C-Class home articles) C
Start (adds articles to Category:Start-Class home articles) Start
Stub (adds articles to Category:Stub-Class home articles) Stub
FL (for featured lists only; adds articles to Category:FL-Class home articles)  FL

For non-standard grades and non-mainspace content, the following values may be used for the class parameter:
