There are currently 1,530 stubs attributed to the project, it would be great to see a large dent taken out of this pile. Help us out here if you can.

The Food Portal has been updated for the month of October. A certain brand of coffee makes a visit to the featured article spot and a humorous restaurant quote lightens up the page while a culinary "bad boy" that many people know is the featured person of the month. Stop by and check out the featured picture of a well stocked market just in time for fall. There are also some interesting facts under the "Did you know" heading. The news section is updated periodically during the course of the month, sometimes I am more diligent in updating it during some months more than others.
Articles can be "tagged" currently by placing {{WikiProject Food and drink}} in an article's talk page. Please help out with accessing articles for the project once they are tagged as well. This is a tedious job for the few people who are doing it right now. Listed here are other tags you can use for identifying articles as well as yourself as a member of the project and some other useful items as well.
We're sorry if you did not want to receive this newsletter. If you would like to not receive this in the future, please make a note next to your name on the project's participant list here.
I'm still trying to find the time to create a promotion tag for members to use as well as one to put on our assessment banner, until then it is encouraged that current members invite others that are working on food and drink related articles to become members of the project by placing a personal invitation on their discussion pages along with a link to the project. If someone is willing to create an ad banner for the project, everyone would be in much gratitude.
