Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Peer review/Get Crazy
Appearance
I'm hoping to get this article to Class B status. The film itself enjoys a small cult following and is considered by some to be one of the better entries in the "rock-and-roll" genre. Given the film's relative obscurity it will probably never warrant an article above B status, but at this point I have incorporated all the online information about it that I could find, and have tried to organize it as befitting a Wikipedia film article. Good work so far, you've obviously put a lot of effort into this. These are few things I noticed:
- The lead mentions that the film is a tribute to the Fillmore East theatre, but this is not expanded upon later on. The lead should summarise what follows in the rest of the article. (Also, that info is not cited.)
- The plot is very long, about 3 times what it should be. Check out the MoS for guidelines.
- in Production, could do with a citation for "Director Allan Arkush appears during "Auld Lang Syne",..." & maybe should be in a different section, perhaps casting...
- Reception could do with expansion. Say more about the negative reviews, maybe summarise any from prominent reviewers.
- some critics consider it to be "one of that genre's best outings." sounds like weasel words, even with the citation, you need to say who thinks that. Also, you need a citation for it being a cult favourite.
- At the moment, the article is dominated by the plot section. General expansion about the background would be good, if at all possible. I know that can be really hard when writing about a fairly obscure film. Hope some of this helps... --BelovedFreak 19:23, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for the notes, I'll see what I can do. Kevin Forsyth 20:22, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
