WP:Films Peer Review would benefit more with new participants helping to review articles. Many articles that have gone through the review process have gone on to become GAs and/or FAs.
We have now reached over 26,000 film articles that have been assessed by our assessment department! Remember to always add the {{Film|class=}} template to a film article's talk page so the project can get a better idea of what work still needs to be done. Below is a table showing a breakdown of our articles by class and importance.
There is now a list of administrators who are members of the project at the Spotlight department. If you need help with an admin-related task dealing with the project, then consider asking one of these members for assistance. Also, if there are any administrators who are members who are missing from the list or if you become an admin in the future, please add to the list.
The current Cinema Collaboration of the Week is Escape from New York. Please help contribute to improving the quality of the article about the 1981 film starring Kurt Russell. The last collaboration was The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Good work to everyone who helped to contribute to the article.
Spotlight Update: Multiple films and film-related articles have reached GA and FA status in May 2007. The amount of articles passed this month has increased significantly compared to our progress in April. Keep up the good work!
Two former GAs were also delisted: King Kong (1933 film) (5/27) and Star Wars (5/31). Consider looking over the comments at their respective GA reviews to see how the article can be improved to return the articles back to their GA status.
Recipients of the WikiProject Films Award: Erik for his dedicated efforts in improving articles on upcoming films and Alientraveller for helping to expand multiple articles to GA and FA status.
Remember that any editor can give the WikiProject Films Award to another WP:Films member. If you do present this award, please make mention of it here or tell one of the newsletter editors who will then include it in the next issue.
