Article's name where English name exists

Prefer the English name, if it exists, as the title and in the article. Ensure the Czech name is clearly stated in the lede after the first use of the title e.g. using {{langx|cs|Czech Name}}. Otherwise use the local name throughout.

Article's name where English name doesn't exist

If it is not possible to obtain an English name or it is not known then try to translate the name at least partially—do not create nonsense—or keep the original Czech name. If the latter has an English translation that helps to clarify the name then put it in brackets afterwards e.g. Czech Name ("English Translation").

Historic names

Where places had a historic name, put this in brackets e.g. Liberec (German: Reichenberg), to avoid any confusion.

Persons (and diacritics)

If possible keep the topic's name with full diacritics to avoid loss of information. But always remember to create a US-ASCII redirect.
