Description

- Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
- Because I think that indie rock is a popular enough genre, is sufficiently distinct from other types of music, and consists of a sufficient number of bands and musicians that it deserves its own WikiProject, as other genres already have (e.g. WikiProject Metal, WikiProject Hip hop, WikiProject Alternative music, and WikiProject Punk Music).

- Maybe (I'd be ok with it), but I thought since we have separate projects for Alternative and Punk, that this should have its own too. Jinkinson talk to me 23:26, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
