Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
The existing WikiProjects that most Muppet articles are associated with are too broad. There are hundreds of articles about the Muppets, plus hundreds about Sesame Street and the many productions that Sesame Workshop and the Jim Henson Company have been involved in. Many of these articles haven't been expanded upon very much since they were created.
