Discussion
[edit]- Too narrow a scope. This would probably better as a working group of WP:Canada if you're looking to focus purely on the 2011 census. Another option would be too broaden the scope for a project on organizing the inclusion of government census data for all nations, into the respective articles. -Optigan13 (talk) 09:43, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- What about articles about municipalities in other countries? How is it that they are not too narrow a scope but Canadian municipalities are? NorthernThunder (talk) 20:15, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- For a long term project I think it's a bit too limited. Once you've updated data based on the 2011 Census, is there anything to follow up on? What exactly do you picture this project doing? I'm only guessing at what you plan to do based on you stating a project title. See Wikipedia:2010 US Census for what is planned for the next go round on the US census. It's largely a coordinating page, and not really a long term project. -Optigan13 (talk) 05:48, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- What about a WikiProject Censuses rather that just a specific census. Or a WikiProject Archives or WP Records? They would be far more acceptable. 95jb14 (talk) 21:11, 11 January 2010 (UTC), founder of WikiProject Latin.[reply]

Hi I would like to know
- Considering the way the Conservatives just gutted the census, do we even need this? -- since it will be statistically faulty. 76.66.193.119 (talk) 06:12, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
