Description
[edit]This would be a WikiProject aimed at the Aromanians, Megleno-Romanians and Istro-Romanians. They are small Eastern European groups scattered throughout several countries with 250,000, 20,000 and 1,000 members respectively. They are groups related to the Romanians, the only other Balkan Romance ethnic group, but they wouldn't be a scope of the project. They are different ethnicities, so I thought of giving a specific task force to each of them. I believe this project can be a chance for organizing editing on these groups and possibly for attracting more members of said ethnicities. It can also help end these cluttered talk pages [1] [2]. Note there already are several ethnicity-aimed projects, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Kurdistan and Wikipedia:WikiProject Assyria. Super Ψ Dro 10:51, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

- Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
- It goes without a saying that none of these WikiProjects have any of these three groups as one of their main focuses. Super Ψ Dro 11:00, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

- Yes, I would join. — Biruitorul Talk 14:02, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- I think I still have a few books on Aromanian, Istro-Romanian, and Megleno-Romanian languages in my library. No point of having them gather dust - I would join.--Aristeus01 (talk) 16:41, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
