I would like to know how to add specific web pages, instead of just IMDb.com for example, how do i add the specific page from IMDb that has the details of my subject?
Kavanagh67 (talk) 00:17, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Kavanagh67:
{{cite web}}
als supports deep URLs like https://examplenewspaper.com/content/2021/06/12/example-article:{{cite web|url=https://examplenewspaper.com/content/2021/06/12/example-article|title=Example Article|website=Example Newspaper}}
Which would produce
"Example Article". Example newspaper.
- But please be advised that IMDB.com is considered unreliable here. Victor Schmidt (talk) 05:53, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi to all,

It is also a number one subsidiary of Unionbank of the Philippines. I am also requesting for help because my editing skills are still need to be improve. Hoping for your favorable response and helps. Thanks in advance.

- We need to see more sources - ideally financial magazine and newspaper articles - that discuss the bank in depth. An article from an SEO firm is not acceptable as a source (Connexion to subject). —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 07:19, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi user:Jéské Couriano, the article was now improved and has its reliable sources. Please try to review and validate the edits before we do the resubmission. Thanks ```— Preceding unsigned comment added by Filipinotayo (talk • contribs)
- Refer to this as I assess:
- I'm sceptical of https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1143249 (possible connexion to subject). This reads more like something I'd see on PRNewswire, not from a respectable news agency with editorial oversight.
- We can't use https://www.citysavings.com.ph/ (Website homepage, connexion to subject). Homepages are worthless as sources.
- We can't use https://www.banksphilippines.com/2019/02/thrift-banks-in-the-philippines.html (No editorial oversight). Random blog.
- https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/12/22/20/unionbank-thrift-arm-citysavings-issues-p5-b-notes-to-expand-loan-portfolio is useless for notability (Routine coverage). Funding news, including the issuance of bonds, is the sort of thing that's usually covered as a matter of course.
- We can't use https://www.kollab.ph/post/citysavingsbank (No editorial oversight). This is the aforementioned article from an SEO firm.
- https://business.inquirer.net/101857/union-bank-taking-over-citysavings-bank is useless for notability (Routine coverage). Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) news is covered as a matter of course.
- https://manilastandard.net/business/biz-plus/342777/city-savings-issues-p5-billion-corporate-notes.html is useless for notability (routine coverage). Same issue as the ABS-CBN source.
- I can't assess https://www.manilatimes.net/2021/02/19/public-square/citysavings-continues-mass-market-expansion-with-bangko-kabayan/842718/amp (Technical barrier). The link throws up an HTTP 500 error, indicating an issue with the website proper.
- https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/money/companies/704569/lalamove-taps-citysavings-for-motorcycle-loan-financing/story/ is useless for notability (routine coverage). Business partnerships are reported on as a matter of course.
- Your sources are still lacking. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 20:55, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

- Smartshri99 I took a look and the organization doesn't appear to have enough media coverage yet. Please see WP:TOOSOON. Also, the history shows some coverage being added and removed, but it's not enough. The best piece that was once there is only a blog. TechnoTalk (talk) 19:02, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

- First, that is a userpage - not a draft. Second, if it had been in draftspace, it would have been rejected and thus wouldn't be examined further due to the utter lack of sources for a biography of a presumably-living person. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 07:17, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Sir,
Anju Panchi is a popular singer of Assam. This is why we are applying her Wikipedia. We also added authentic sources from local magazines and news portals. Please advise on this.

Because I need help with improving and submitting an article.
Petrandreev13 (talk) 12:50, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- Petrandreev13, you'll need to add a few more reliable sources that cover the film in-depth to show that it is notable. Currently the only reference in the article is about the film's sequel. (The external links to Youtube, IMDB, Letterboxd etc. don't help to demonstrate notability as these are user-generated content). Spicy (talk) 22:51, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- Spicy, then how come the first film was approved by the Wikipedia? Its only sources are almost as same as this one, yet it was still approved. Petrandreev13 (talk) 08:27, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- Petrandreev13, well, it looks like that article never went through the AfC process. It was also tagged for having insufficient sources, but a reviewer did a search on their own and found that the film is probably notable. However, to pass AfC articles generally should demonstrate that the topic is notable without any need to consult outside resources. Additionally, it is going to be difficult for most English Wikipedia editors, who don't speak Russian, to search for sources on this topic. Spicy (talk) 14:51, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

I believe that the article should be approved, because Aaron Golbin is a notable entrepreneur. DebateIsland, his company, is currently being reviewed for approval as well.

This wiki should be approved, because Aaron Golbin is a notable entrepreneur who has been featured in numerous publications including Forbes and Inc. Also, he is the founder and CEO of a very large company (DebateIsland is being reviewed for submission).

- This draft has been rejected and will not be considered further. We are not interested in a rerun of the Seigenthaler incident. Every biographical claim the draft makes that could potentially be challenged for any reason what-so-ever MUST be cited to a strong third-party source that corroborates it or (if no such sources can be found) removed wholesale. This is a HARD REQUIREMENT and is NOT NEGOTIABLE. In addition, the article as written is overdetailed in tone, going off into irrelevant tangents that add nothing to the article except a sense it was written to promote him. The claim you're not being "immediately" compensated for writing this is a distinction without a difference; you are obligated to disclose if you are, or expect to be, compensated per the terms of use. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 03:20, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- Note that the OP moved the article into mainspace despite the rejection. I have since moved it back to draft and updated the template above accordingly. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 03:26, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
