[edit]02:31:23, 26 October 2019 review of draft by Sorrontis
[edit]
Hello, We (fans of the Knuckle Cracker developer) created this page to chronicle the work done by the publisher. We attempted to get as much information from 3rd party game journalism (IGN, RockPaperShotgun, PCGamer), as well as some market information (crunchbase) and supplemented additional information from the developers blog in an attempt to be as accurate as possible. We attempted to remain as neutral as possible when writing.
We do not know how do make the article seem less like an advertisement.
How do we improve the article? Thank you,
Sorrontis (talk) 02:31, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Sorrontis: I went through the article tagging all the issues and correcting obvious problems. In short, the article needs much more sourcing. It needs at least multiple sources focused on the company, not just the games because notability is not inherited. We need in-depth reliable publications that discuss the company itself -- history, impact, reception, etc. As it stand, the article doesn't have enough source to pass WP:GNG even once all promotional and inappropriate-for-encyclopedia content is reworked. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 09:29, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Hellknowz: Thank you so much for the assistance. We will try to fix as much as possible and look for additional sources. What is considered enough source to pass? We could not find a definitive answer to this point. Sorrontis (talk) 15:45, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- It depends. If it is borderline (3 or so), then you'd just end up with a deletion discussion. So 3+ is the bare minimum requirement for drafts. Mind you, these would be in-depth reliable independent sources about the subject, like significant pieces about company history or analysis of their market impact. The "lesser" the source, the more of them would be needed. None of the sources in the article pass the bar. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 15:54, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
08:44:32, 26 October 2019 review of submission by Ontarrio
[edit]Hello, I wanted to know if my article could be re-reviewed already. I updated it over time, the group debuted, released their album and performed on stage a few times. If you search for their name in Google, you can easily find information about them. I would appreciate if my article could be created this time.
Just saw that I can't resubmit my draft if it was rejected. Then, if it could be accepted now, do I have to delete this one and create a new draft or can it still be reviewed? Ontarrio (talk) 08:44, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- Ontarrio, I have resubmitted it on your behalf. It may take some time for it to be reviewed, during which time you can further improve the article. Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 21:36, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

why article submission was declined
Mohamoudelmelegy (talk) 09:31, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Mohamoudelmelegy: This is explained in the decline reason. In short, because it does not have sources to pass the notability sourcing criteria. Profile and directory entries are not usable. The only article is where the subject themselves provide most of the info. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 10:27, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

- @Mohamoudelmelegy: You may resubmit the draft to have the new sources evaluated. Since the sources are in Arabic, you may wish to consider writing an article at https://ar.wikipedia.org instead. --Worldbruce (talk) 12:26, 26 October 2019 (UTC)

I want you improve this article.
Example of episodes :
Overnight_Success_(The_Loud_House)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Change_Your_Mind_(Steven_Universe) 197.253.230.158 (talk) 16:20, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- Not quite sure what you're asking here? I see that you are showing other examples of episodes, and if you are going to create an article, you should follow the example of successful articles. The Steven Universe article exists because it has numerous independent reviews of the episode by major publications. Such coverage did not seem to exist for this particular loud hosue episode, which is why it was declined. It would work better as an entry on a list of loud house episodes. 16:21:34, 26 October 2019 review of draft by TonyWestling-Dataspelsbranschen
[edit]
Hi! My name is Tony Westling and I submited an AfC Draft: Swedish Video Game Industry and "Submission declined on 7 October 2019 by Bkissin". I received the feedback "This is not the correct place to request new redirects. Please follow the instructions at Articles for creation/Wizard-Redirects. Thank you." After this I deleted the redirect and more over I edited new material to the article.
I'm aware to be patient because of many articles being reviewed. I wonder if the article is going to be reviewed again?
All the best
Tony
TonyWestling-Dataspelsbranschen (talk) 16:21, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- TonyWestling-Dataspelsbranschen, You need to actually resubmit the article to have it enter the review queue. Once you do, please be patient as the average review time is 8 weeks due to a large backlog. Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 18:25, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- TonyWestling-Dataspelsbranschen, I have gone ahead and resubmitted it for you. But be warned: the sourcing you have is likely not adequate. Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 21:22, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
19:51:06, 26 October 2019 review of draft by Ajobryan
[edit]
Hi,
I need help with my draft (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Sally_Helgesen) which I submitted about a week ago. I fixed all the issues (or I think I did) which were mentioned by the first reviewer, TheSandDoctor, and resubmitted it. The second reviewer (Robert McClenon) asked me a query about 'conflict of interest' to which I replied on the draft page.
Am I missing something I should be doing as part of the review process? It has been a week and I have not heard back from these two reviewers.
Ajobryan (talk) 19:51, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Ajobryan: Please be patient, the review process will likely take ~8 weeks due to the thousands of drafts submitted before yours. JTP (talk • contribs) 21:24, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- Ajobryan, You can keep improving the article, but otherwise you don't have to do anything. If you want feedback from those reviewers, leave a note on their talk pages and ask. But usually, reviewers see a draft once and might not come back to it, leaving it for another reviewer. Drafts are reviewed in no particular order, and there is currently a long backlog. Please be patient, as it may take up to 8 weeks for your draft to be reviewed. Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 21:24, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
