I am asking assistance because the item I submitted, a motion picture that I own the COPYRIGHT on, was rejected because of "copyright infringement." It said that Rottentomatoes was an infringement. I don't understand, I was only using them as a verifiable source reference for the motion picture I created. .
How do I fix this?

- Hi Sean Lackey. If you own the copyright on the movie, then you have a conflict of interest and it's a very very very bad idea for you to write about the movie on Wikipedia. The draft was deleted because of a different problem - it duplicated text on rottentomatoes.com (which is copyright Fandango), in a manner that infringed their copyright. More details about that were left on your talk page.
- The best advice about how to "fix this" is to drop the keyboard and back away. If the film is notable, eventually someone else will write an article about it. You're welcome to write about the Cairo International Film Festival, a Chinese bank, Dutch coinage in World War II, an English guitarist, basically anything you don't have a stake in. There's no need to create a new article, either. Only a tiny percentage of articles are rated good or above, so there's plenty of room to improve Wikipedia by making existing articles better. If you don't heed this advice, and write about The Yank anyway, then in addition to digesting the information you've been given on conflict of interest and copyright, study WP:NFILM and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Film. --Worldbruce (talk) 04:20, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

I have created a draft for an historic church. I am not a parishioner of this church but I do pass it frequently. I'm trying to get the draft added and I'm not clear how to make that happen.
- Hi Johnarobb. Now you will find a large gray box at the top of the draft. If you click the blue "Submit" button therein, it will be added to the pool of drafts to be reviewed. There is a considerable backlog, so do not be alarmed if it takes a month. hello, thank you in advance -- an article we wrote "Richard Yelland" was declined on may 25 because it was deemed to be promotional. it was resubmitted on may 29 taking a solely factual stance and adding references to published articles in the NY Times, ESPN, LA Times and National Geographic, among others.
many of the cast members of the documentary films by Richard Yelland (the subject of the article) have their own Wiki pages. we didn't include those links or mentions -- but we see that most Wiki articles provide live links to those pages. at what point might we consider adding those links in?
to that end, if we have a draft nearing approval, when might recommendations be made on formatting the article as it might be published on Wiki?

- @Morgan USA:: Please clarify what you mean by "we". The policy on Wikipedia is "one user—one account". Usernames should not be shared by multiple individuals.
- Internal links may be added to a page at any time. More information can be found at WP:LINKING. Pay particular attention to the section on overlinking, which in my experience is the most common rookie mistake. The Wikipedia:Manual of Style contains much more information about formatting. Don't worry too much about it, it shouldn't affect whether the draft is accepted or not, and someone else can fix it later.
- The draft's style of footnoting is unconventional on Wikipedia. Although that style is not forbidden, you may find that following one of the styles described in Help:Referencing for beginners will better convey what you're trying to get across to reviewers and other readers. --Worldbruce (talk) 02:17, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
