This individual is a Hollywood Industry Executive with numerous Film/TV credits and was rated five times by Variety Magazine as a TOP 25 Hollywood Executive. I have provided news sources from The Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Deadline Hollywood, Jet Magazine and a Autobiography by Mike Medavoy. I am unclear as to what elese is required. I would greatly appreciate your advice and support as this is my first Wilkipedia Article and who like to continue contributing to this fantastic fourm. Thank you so much.
- Hi Jonreillythr The review-resubmit cycle hasn't been kind to this draft. The point you have been missing is a slash ("/"). When you wrap a reference in tags, the opening tag is
<ref>
, but the closing tag is slightly different, it includes a slash:</ref>
. It's a problem the reviewers could have fixed in two minutes. It's also something you could have fixed yourself; it's explained in WP:REFB, which reviewers pointed you to four times. Be that as it may, I've fixed it, so let's move on.
- I've left a basket of links on your talk page. The draft still needs a lot of work. You may find Wikipedia:Writing better articles, Wikipedia:Manual of style, and Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners particularly helpful. Often it's also useful to browse Wikipedia's best articles to see how they're written and formatted.
- Concentrate on a small number of high quality sources - independent, reliable, secondary sources that contain substantial information about Walterschied. Quality is much more important than quantity. Explain in the first or second sentence how and why Walterschied is notable - why he belongs in an encyclopedia with the likes of Walt Disney, Jack L. Warner, and Joseph Barbera. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:44, 14 December 2017 (UTC)

Hello! Any help on why my article was declined would be wonderful. It states it requires significant coverage but this is an up and coming artist so we don't have much coverage.
- Hi there. All articles in Wikipedia must be based on significant coverage in reliable sources. There are no exceptions. If someone is an "up and coming" artist, they probably don't yet merit having an encyclopaedia article written about them. – Joe (talk) 13:43, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
