Hi, The modification of my article was rejected. I would like to know whether it is because of the language or the links. The reference links I used are coming from external independent sources.
I would appreciate a little bit of clarification as I need to rewrite the article so that it complies with the rules.
Kind Regards, Ewa

- The reviewer declined because of the language, but there is also a problem with the references. You only provided two references, neither of which is independent and reliable. One is the organization's own site and the other is a blog. Please address both the language and the references. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:24, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Based on the suggestions of the previous reviewer, I have added more in-depth information and third party citations to establish notability of the organization within the article. This includes info about funding, revenue model, operations and citations from leading publications and media outlets. This draft has been pending for 4 months. I have edited the article many times according to suggestions and comments left by previous reviewers. Request a reviewer to please take a look. Thank you!

- You say that the draft has been pending for 4 months, and it is true that you wrote it 4 months ago, but it has been declined several times. It has each time been declined on notability grounds, but, if I were to review it today, I would decline it on grounds that it reads like an advertisement. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:26, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking a look! I saw what you meant - I think I misunderstood the last reviewer's comments. Based on your feedback, I have removed any language that can be considered promotional from the article. Thanks! Dmulan123 (talk) 14:26, 9 August 2016 (UTC)Dmulan123

- No draft specified!

Hello,
I am writing to see why my article on Suppressionism in Art was declined as an article, Since my last correspondence with you a magazine had done an article about it.
Thank you kindly,
Margaret
- This is the only edit that you have made from this IP address, and I see no evidence that an article entitled Suppressionism in Art has been declined or deleted. What IP address were you using? What was its title? Robert McClenon (talk) 20:40, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- There used to be a page called "Draft:Suppressionism in art" originally at "User:Suppressionism/sandbox/Suppressionism in art". It was declined and deleted because it was a copy of content at this URL http://creativedesignerswriters.com/articleFullDetails.php?ID=55&&SS=&&MSG= . We cannot accept copyright infringements. Also content copied from other websites is unlikely to be in the form required for an encyclopedia, and so should be rewritten. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:05, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
19:15:19, 27 July 2016 review of submission by Alexey Voronov
[edit]Hi! I'm not sure how to improve notability of a comparison table (that's what the submission is about). I took all the links from Abstract_Syntax_Notation_One page, and arranged them into a comparison table. Most of the tools in the table are also listed in the two external references. What would be a good reference to improve the notability? Maybe the whole table should be added to the Abstract_Syntax_Notation_One page? Alexey Voronov (talk) 19:15, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- I would suggest adding the table to the existing article. It would improve the article, and make more sense than having it stand alone. Developing a table in a sandbox is a good use of a sandbox, but not everything that is developed in a sandbox should be submitted as a draft article. I would say to be bold and add it to the article. - Thanks! I have added the table to the Abstract_Syntax_Notation_One page. Alexey Voronov (talk) 21:31, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

21:26:01, 27 July 2016 review of draft by Rosereid
[edit]
I am requesting help because I need to create an info-box for the book listed on the page. Something like the info-box used on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Forest_of_Hands_and_Teeth. I am new to Wikipedia and cannot seem to figure out how to add the info-box template. Each time I try to add it in, it only appears as visual text, rather than the template. I see nowhere that I can click to change the editor. Help?
Rosereid (talk) 21:26, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Rosereid. I've added an infobox to the draft so that you can experiment with it. The documentation can be found at {{Infobox book}}. You may be seriously underestimating what it takes to be considered a reliable source, how in-depth the reviews must be, how professional the reviewers need to be, and how many reviews are required. Think The New York Times, New York Review of Books, The Washington Post, and the like.
Consider that although there is an article about the author, the Wikipedia community is unconvinced that they are notable. You might find your time better spent improving Cinda Williams Chima so that it isn't deleted.(Struck because it references the wrong Crimson Crown.) --Worldbruce (talk) 02:11, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
