[edit]My article was declined due to the reason This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. I am not too sure how to fix this as the only two sources I used are the ones which I included in the Reference list. How do I fix this so I can resubmit my article. Thank you. - @Nikolaiho: for Draft:Tore Hamsun, you need to find more reliable sources that discuss him. The sources don't have to be in English but there be something out there about the actual work (an academic, an article, something) rather than just those two pages (the second is more about the whole family than just him. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:41, 26 February 2016 (UTC)
How do I get my article approved? Don't understand what has to be done to get it published.

@Afgason:. Please read what is being asked. We need reliable, independent sources that discuss the company. The company itself is not a good source about itself, we need evidence that it is important to other people. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:42, 26 February 2016 (UTC)
- Hello @Afgason:, what is unclear? You've written a very promotional advertisement for your company, and cited it to only the company itself. You've given no evidence that outside experts find this company worth writing about, which is one of our core requirements. I strongly suggest that you a) read WP:Notability (companies) and b) recognize that Wikipedia absolutely will not let you use this cite to advertise a company. Hi - I have attempted a complete revision of the 'Lip-reading' page - I have incorporated some of the original bits from that page, but expanded it. and eliminated quite a lot of misleading material.
I would like this new version to replace the one currently showing, but do not know how to do that. Can you help?

- Hi RuthBCCampbell, the drafting process is only for completely new articles. If you wish to change an already existing article you have to edit the article directly. Replacing an existing article with an edited copy created in a sandbox breaks the record of previous contributions, which is a violation of the Creative Commons license that all Wikipedia content must comply with. - Hi Joe88haddad. I assume this query is because your draft has been rejected twice. I have to tell you that it will never be accepted. We already have an article on the Rotaract organization. Except in very unusual circumstances, we never have articles on the local chapters of larger organizations. By "very unusual circumstances", I mean that an individual chapter is highly notable in its own right, with multiple in-depth coverage specifically of that chapter in completely independent published sources, not sources connected to Rotaract or its parent organization Rotary International. [edit]- I see that the draft was rejected three times. This is because it is long, not well structured, and the article is not backed up by reliable sources. May be you should not take too many steps at the same time. The person you are trying to write about is an academic. For academics, we have special notability criteria, Wikipedia:Notability (academics). Please try to read them. May be this person is not notable according to our criteria. There is nothing wrong in this, if it is the case, there are many wonderful persons around who are not encyclopaedically notable. If he is notable, try to understand what in the criteria makes him notable. Write this point clearly in the article and find reliable sources which confirm it. Then nominate the article again and see what the response would be. Do not try to do all at the same time.--Ymblanter (talk) 22:47, 26 February 2016 (UTC)
- Steve Vengrenovich I have just rejected it for the fourth time. More importantly, I have had to remove almost all of this draft for copyright violation. The career section was copied verbatim from here. The material on the text book was copied or very closely paraphrased from the book descriptions and blurbs on the publishers' websites. There was also excessive quoting from reviews. That is also a copyright violation. Please rewrite in your own words. Do not paste in verbatim material from the book blurbs or reviews, even in quote marks. That is not only a copyright violation but entirely inappropriate advertising. What is the source for his early life and education? You cannot write this simply from personal knowledge. Finally, while I have made your listed sources legible and accessible, they need to be added as inline citations. Having looked at several of them, they do not even mention Klyatis and are simply generic links to various organization websites. This draft requires inline citations to sources independent of the subject and verification of the biographical information, education, awards etc. Please take the time read carefully the helpful links provided by User:Onel5969 on the draft about how to write, reference, and structure an article and follow Ymblanter's good advice above. There is no need to rush. If you keep submitting the article in its current state, it will simply be rejected. If you keep pasting in or closely paraphrasing copyright material, the draft will almost certainly be deleted completely. Voceditenore (talk) 09:08, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
