[edit]12:38:47, 9 February 2015 review of submission by EamonX1
[edit]
I see my article on the Internet (Alfred Edwin Jones, Architect). However there is a box at the top of page which says it is an ORPHAN and requires LINKS. However I can count 10 Links in the article. When you click on them they open another Wikipedia Article.
This is the Box at top of my article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wiki_letter_w.svg
"This article is an orphan, as no other articles link to it. Please introduce links to this page from related articles; try the Find link tool for suggestions. (February 2015)"
And this is the link to the article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wiki_letter_w.svg
What must I do? EamonX1 (talk) 12:38, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- Hello EamonX1 , since your draft is already published, please use WP:Teahouse since this page is just for questions on drafts. That said, I'll point out that "Orphan" means the page lacks incoming links. Your page has outgoing links (otherwise it would be labeled "Dead End"). What you need to do is find other pages which mention Jones, and link his name in those articles to his article. For example, if Jones designed building X in Dublin, make sure the Article for "Building X" has Jones' name linked. And do try the "find link" tool the template suggests to you, that might make it even easier. Hope this helps! MatthewVanitas (talk) 16:31, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I've made sufficient changes by adding citations from my previous review, still this time again it has failed. Please provide me the specifics to improvize my writing. It'll definitely help more specific, at this point I'm little confused with the comment from last reviewer. Thanks!! Manju9118 (talk) 14:11, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

15:58:11, 9 February 2015 review of submission by Richard J Barker
[edit]
For the William Ternaux article, I (Richard Barker) cannot unscramble the mess I made editing. Can you Clear all so I can start over by pasting what I have prepared?
Richard J Barker (talk) 15:58, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- Richard J Barker, the main problem was that you did not bold the first mention of the subject, and also you indented a line. Due to a quirk/feature of Wikipedia coding, indenting a line
causes a big gray box like this, so do not indent ever.
- That aside, my concern is that you almost totally erased the previously existing article (while still keeping its footnote) and also your second paragraph is a bit hard to follow, somewhat complex phrasing. Have you communicated with the other editors who have very recently been working on that same page? I'd advise pinging them on their talk-pages to make sure you aren't working at cross-purposes. [edit]
I accidentally submitted a new article to be reviewed for publication twice. Can I remove the duplicate submission?
Mariselan (talk) 17:38, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Mariselan: Done The second submission just put an extra template at the bottom of the page. I have cleaned it up for you. --Ahecht (TALK
