February 13

[edit]

I just submitted a new article for approval (article entitled "Arnie Suntag"). How do I get back to it to review and/or edit??? Thanks. Sjohnson2014 (talk) 00:05, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Click "Contributions" at the top right of any Wikipedia page, which will lead you back to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Arnie Suntag. Though I see you may have found this already. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 10:35, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have submitted an article for the first time which includes a few figures. However, I cannot upload the figures because I am a new user. How can I upload the figures ?

Thanks for any help Jim mori (talk) 08:56, 13 February 2014 (UTC)jim moriJim mori (talk) 08:56, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Who created the figures? Did they base any of them on existing images at all? Do they want to freely license the figures for use by anyone, including for commercial purposes, not just on Wikipedia? Arthur goes shopping (talk) 10:37, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to add photos to my article, but could not find any button which would be understandable to me as for inserting photos. Another question about photos: 1, given to me by a friend, 2, sent to me (in email) by an online newspaper, article authors, 3, published on the Internet on a Facebook entry (copy of a paper version of an article with a photo included), 4, a photo taken out from an Internet article, which had already been deleted. Which of these can I use, if not all? None of the photos has a known copyright. Thank you!Marici Punarvasu (talk) 12:54, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Marici Punarvasu 13Feb2014Marici Punarvasu (talk) 12:54, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

None of those can be used.
You should also read Wikipedia's Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 13:06, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

H, I've just completed this page on Tito Canepa and I am wondering what the process is before it goes online. I've just gotten a message that it takes three weeks for it to be reviewed. Can this be right? Is there something I can do to hasten the process? ThanksLeezk (talk) 20:38, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes this is right. It actually says reviews can potentially take more than three weeks. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 14:03, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

When will my article be accepted by Wikipedia? Cascott1970 (talk) 21:01, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You put some code inside the {{AFC submission|...}} code, which broke it. (I've fixed it.) This code provides a link to resubmit the article, in which case someone will come to review it. You should first see how to add inline citations (those little numbers that look like this[1]; please see the introduction to referencing or referencing for beginners. --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 22:33, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to add Michel Jamo to the celebrities list of Assyrians at Wikipedia. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Micheljamo (talkcontribs) 23:02, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is no article about anyone named Michael Jamo on the English Wikipedia. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 20:23, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Dodger67: He is currently working on an article in his sandbox (and also has a deleted AfC draft).
@Micheljamo: In order to be added to the list, you must first have an article. It seems you have started one at User:Micheljamo/sandbox. You can submit it for review by following the instructions in the box at the top of the page. Please note that you must cite outside sources of information, otherwise the article will not be accepted. (See the introduction to referencing or referencing for beginners to learn how to do this.) --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 20:47, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why was my article not accepted and it was just an article of a owner of Andro Zones

Yaarish (talk) 23:27, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the box at the top of the page for the reasons. In short, you have not shown notability. Based on your username I think you are actually the subject of the article. I commend you for your work, but unfortunately it does not seem that you have been discussed in independent sources of information (news, television, magazines, etc.). If you have been, please add those. As I would assume you are living, Wikipedia has a policy on information about living people, which states that any information "challenged or likely to be challenged" must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable source of information. --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 03:22, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
