Dear Wikipedia Administrator

I primarily research and source data on anthropology, Buddhist and Taoist death rites. As part of my work I created an article about Ang Jolie Mei, a female funeral director in conservative Singapore. I provided all the sources for the article at the end of the template. But the articles, a fair share of them were print with no accessibility online. The draft was rejected with the note that it was not supported by reliable sources. All the articles mentioned as sources were from publications owned by the Singapore Press Holdings and MediaCorp, which are the national media groups in Singapore. I am aware that the all sources do not link to an online article. For facilitating this I am ready to present a scanned copy of all the sources mentioned in the template about Ang Jolie Mei. I kindly request the administrators to review the page again.

Dear Writerwrench: On your behalf I asked for an opinion at WP:WikiProject Death. One of the members of that project gave an opinion that the subject is non-notable. There's also a WP:Wikiproject Singapore; perhaps an editor there will take an interest in this article, and may better understand what makes the subject interesting. Please don't post copyright material such as scans of newspapers on Wikipedia; in any case one of the references in the article leads to a web page on which several articles are posted. —Anne Delong (talk) 22:24, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Editor Anupmehra just suggested source citations for the third and fourth paragraphs of the Careers section of an article on David G. Benner. I appreciate his specific comment. For that part of career info, I was following comments by editor DGG, who in one of his advice postings (DGG ( talk ) 03:20, 8 July 2013 (UTC)) wrote: "It is not necessary to cite the basic information in detail to other than the official CV." And later in the same posting: "...give the basic information--the source should be the CV-- birthplace and date, degrees, previous positions." Another WP editor (LionMans Account (talk) 21:32, 25 August 2013 (UTC)) wrote about this text on 25 August: "Right now, I would say it's okay" and said I could move it to mainspace myself. But I wanted another opinion or two to be sure of good quality, so resubmitted the piece. Now, what think? How to cite a copy of a CV (didn't find that in Missing Manual)? Could I remove the two paragraphs while hunting down university employment records for him, if that's possible? Would like this article to move to mainspace. One or two unsourced paragraphs in a fairly long article is not a valid reason to decline the submission. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 18:08, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't want to leave the section unsourced, so added the reference note as editors suggested. Thanks all. JaneFaber (talk) 07:02, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Dorchester Review I have pressed "Save" several times, so I don't understand why my article is not queued for review. Is it possible for you to explain? Chris Champion 70.26.9.134 (talk) 18:17, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is correctly submitted for review - there are actually three review templates on the page, one at the top and two at the bottom. I'll clean it up now. Roger (Dodger67) (talk)
BTW I can't figure out why the infobox is not displaying correctly. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 18:33, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not entirely sure what caused the infobox issue; possibly some bizarre whitespace issue. Whatever it was, I fixed it. I also removed a couple of parameters that weren't supported by the template. Huon (talk) 01:53, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
