[edit]Submission declined-need help
[edit]Hello, I have made a submission[[1]]. Previously it was declined stating that there are no independent reference and formatting problems. Later one generous wikipedian helped me out in fixing these errors. I have again edited the article and provides sufficient corroboration from external and independent links. Still it is seen that the article has not be approved. Can anybody help to fix the problem.
Thanks a lot Oraalppokkam (talk) 03:15, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello
We would like to change the title of the article from 'Rusconi' to 'RUSCONI (jazz band)'.
- The article refers to a jazz band.
- The official (and well established) name of the band is 'RUSCONI'.
- Somebody (or the system) changed that name to 'Rusconi'. The Wiki users could misunderstand that name.
- We currently work on another article named 'Stefan Rusconi (artist)' (the artist behind the band).
We have tried to change the name back to 'RUSCONI (jazz band)' by DISPLAYTITLE:RUSCONI (jazz band) (set into curly brackets).
- This does not work. We still get 'Rusconi'.
- How can we solve that problem?
--Studi321 (talk) 10:36, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- This is not a problem. We do not need to disambiguate more than necessary. If the band is called "Rusconi" then that is the article title Wikipedia will use. There is already a redirect from RUSCONI to Rusconi.
- If the article Stefan Rusconi is subsequently created, both articles can wikilink to each other. Thus there will be no confusion which is about the person and which is about the band.
- It is only necessary to include "band" in the title if that is actually part of the band's name, as is the case with regard to Steve Miller Band. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 11:46, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
will you please inform me what is considered Third Party Proof ? If the information is already available at Hindi Wikipedia, can it be taken as Third Party Proof ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 223.228.231.66 (talk) 13:23, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- No, it cannot. Hindi Wikipedia, like English Wikipedia, is an encyclopedia that anyone can edit; therefore the material could be changed by anyone at any time, and thus cannot be relied upon to source facts. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 11:30, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
Review of User:Marjorieagent/sandbox
[edit]Hello, I just sent a three page expansion of the existing stub for Buddy Deppenschmidt who is an American jazz drummer. I worked closely with him to get all the correct facts. I have never submitted anything to Wikipedia and would appreciate any help. I also sent a recent photo to be included. Buddy is a major figure in music history as you will see from the article. Please contact me, when you can, to get this improvement online as soon possible. You can also call me at 610-847-8437. Thank you so much, Marjorie Danciger — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marjorieagent (talk • contribs) 15:09, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Marjorie. Your article submission seems to have consisted of an attempt to upload several image scans of your desktop, and absolutely nothing else. Wikipedia does not accept material in this format.
- Material added to articles should be based on independent reliable sources (for example reviews and descriptions in newspapers or music magazines), not on personal interviews with the subject of the article.
- The best way to improve the article Buddy Deppenschmidt is simply to edit that article directly. You may find Wikipedia:Tutorial useful in seeing how to do so. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 11:29, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
My article submission for FastSpring was declined. What was the reason for this? I removed the reference to the Inc 5000 award per Hasteur's comment. Will that be acceptable for approval? Crlueck (talk) 23:09, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- It has been approved and is now at FastSpring. The External links should be trimmed. Links to the company blog, subsidiaries, etc can usually be found at the company's main website so they should not be listed separately. I'm not sure the BBB and Crunchbase listings add any sigificant value to the article. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 09:51, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
