[edit]I got a note that the submission was declined but it didn't day why. Please help. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kyplaskon (talk • contribs) 04:55, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- The reason is explained in the pink box at the top of your submission Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Morris Burner Hotel. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 08:08, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
Hello
Could you please help me in adapting my article on 'Stefan Rusconi (Artist)?
First of all: Yes, I agree, that we should present Stefan Rusconi as a polyvalent artist, not just as the leader of his band RUSCONI.
- He has several outstanding talents as an artist: Jazz musician, composer, video clips maker, photographer, cover designer etc.
- His band is considered 'to be one of the most successful contemporary exponents of crossover jazz in Switzerland'. And he is the spiritus rector behind the band: Composer of many of their songs, arranger of the other songs, stupendous jazz piano player (for both classical and modern jazz) etc.
- Reciently, the band has been reviewed in the well known Downbeat Review (I will add that link).
- 2012 the band got the famous ECHO Jazz Award as 'Best live act 2012' (already linked).
- Thus; I would like to concentrate the article on Stefan Rusconi and his life as a polyvalent artist. For the rest we can refer to the article on the band by links.
- Is that OK for you?
Somebody changed the 2nd article's name from 'RUSCONI (band)' to 'Rusconi'.
- The official name of the band is written in capital letters. Somebody changed that und eliminated '(band)'. How can we please go back to the official name and add '(band)'?
- Based on this modification, the links in my article on 'Stefan Rusconi (Artist)' work again and help understand why Stefan Rusconi (artist) meets the Wikipedia's notability criteria: Comment: This article seems to be largely about the band RUSCONI. There's no evidence here that Stefan Rusconi meets Wikipedia's notability criteria or is "one of the most powerful and inspired contemporary jazz musicians of Switzerland". Sionk (talk) 02:09, 30 September 2013 (UTC).
- Should you still have doubts on Stefan Rusconi's talents, please indicate how I may proceed on presenting more pieces of evidence.
In addition, we would like to replace the pictures in both articles. We have more recent ones that we would like to take now. For all pictures we have the agreement of the professional photographer for publication. How can we present you the agreements (as a proof?
--Studi321 (talk) 06:36, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I can speak for the first draft article, because I declined it. If Stefan Rusconi is a notable individual, you'll need to provide strong proof. In fact the message box at the top of the article tells you what you need to do, along the lines of Wikipedia's golden rule (if Stefan Rusconi has won awards as an individual and is "one of the most powerful and inspired contemporary jazz musicians of Switzerland" we cannot just take your word for it). I haven't seen the second article, but if it is similar to the first one talking about RUSCONI the band and their discography, it is understandable that someone will think the true subject is the band, not Stefan Rusconi.
- As for the photos, I would recommend you to concentrate on improving the article(s) first, so that they are suitable for main article space. When that's been done successfully by all means ask for help with the photos. The Teahouse is a great place to do this. Sionk (talk) 09:58, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Attempting to fix inline references as requested....completed two but do not think they work at bottom of page....what else do i need to do?1810miller (talk) 07:25, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- You seem to have put {{Reflist}} in the middle of the article, which is not going to work. Try reading Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and see if that makes it clearer. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 08:06, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

- That page is not currently submitted for review. You can submit it by putting {{subst:submit}} at the top of it. But you should probably improve it further first. You may wish to read Wikipedia:Your first article. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 08:03, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi.
I was hoping someone could help me understand the issues with this article. The NLL is the best lacrosse league in the world, many lacrosse players in the NLL have wiki pages, and Joey Cupido is one of the young stars in the league, having been named to the all NLL rookie team last season. Are the references not enough? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thebigshadiw (talk • contribs) 12:16, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- Unfortunately not. Articles about senior professional team sport players in the world's major sports are often presumed to be notable enough for Wikipedia. In comparison, lacrosse is not a major sport and there are no alternative notability guidelines for lacrosse players. In Cupido's case the general notability criteria will apply to him - you'll need to prove he has been exceptional and been the subject of significant news coverage in his own right. I have a doubt about the formatting of this article as the categories I have placed Bohdan Pawłowicz in have been recently moved to external links and the category link is now filled with metadata pertaining to the article creation. Moreover,I'd like to add the authority control template but am not quite sure where to place it. Could you help me? Bdieu (talk) 17:25, 14 October 2013 (UTC) . I managed to place the template but not sure it is where it should be. Bdieu (talk) 22:32, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- The categories will normally be added if and when the article submission is accepted. They are fine where the are for the time being. The metadata pertaining to the article creation is required in order for the article to be reviewed.
- I cannot help you with the authority control template, but perhaps someone else can. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 08:26, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you. Bdieu (talk) 11:50, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
I saved my article Wikipedia talk: Articles for creation/Spaceflight Inc. and it will not process to review by anyone. I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. Do you have any tips? I thought I had everything written and cited properly.

- Your article submission is waiting to be reviewed. The box at the top which says it is not waiting to be reviewed, is wrong. Apologies for this confusing bug. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 08:27, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
I have rewritten my rejected article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Child Welfare Information Gateway, to address issues of tone and the fact that there were too many external links. Would someone be willing to look it over to see whether it might pass muster in its new form? I am new here ... Any help is much appreciated! JillRGreene (talk) 18:27, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- That article is not currently submitted for review. You may wish to submit it for review by adding {{subst:submit}} at the top, or using the "Resubmit" button. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 08:59, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
