Can I add images to an AFC if it hasn't been accepted yet?

That depends on the image. If the image comes with a free license such as the CC-BY-SA 3.0 License, you can upload it to the Wikimedia Commons via their Upload Wizard; once it's uploaded, the picture tutorial explains how to add images to a Wikipedia page. However, Wikipedia's Non-free content criteria state that non-free images may only be added to articles proper (and only under pretty restrictive criteria) - a draft is not enough. Two similar articles about the same topic

While reviewing some articles I came across two articles, almost the same, about The Jockstrap Raiders. One has been created by Jockstrapraider and is at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Jockstrap Raiders and the other by Chillicon and is at User:Chillicon/sandbox. Not sure what to do. The second seems to be a copy of the first. I can't use the reviewing tools to decline the second article because it is in the sandbox. Since Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Jockstrap Raiders isn't submitted for review and seems stale, I'd ignore it. I'd suggest either to review User:Chillicon/sandbox manually or to move it to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Jockstrap Raiders (2). I'd say the film may actually be notable; Animation Magazine and CG Channel look like reliable sources to me. Huon (talk) 23:15, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
