[edit]

I have been mandated by the "Geopolymer scientists community" to write a totally new article on "Geopolymers" that must replace the existing one, which is considered as being inaccurate. See the discussion at the last conference "Geopolymer Camp 2012" , second video at http://www.geopolymer.org/camp/gp-camp-2012 .

As Wikipedia is the encyclopedia that anyone can edit, feel free to rewrite, edit, or add to the Geopolymers article yourself. It isn't necessary to create a new page to replace the old one. Bear in mind, though, that no one owns a Wikipedia article, and that other editors may edit, add to, revert, delete, or challenge your contributions. You might find this helpful. Your draft currently isn't submitted for review, and it doesn't cite any reliable, independent sources. Significant coverage in such sources is necessary both to establish the company's notability and to allow us to verify the draft's content. Furthermore, the current draft reads more like an advertisement or a business directory entry than an encyclopedia article. Is there anything else you need help with? Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eri4c (talkcontribs) 16:30, 18 January 2013 (UTC) I have revised the problem of my articles and have added necessary citations to it. I wanted to re-submit the revised article but I do not know how. As in I couldn't find the 'submit button'. May I know what should I do? Thank you very much for your help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eri4c (talkcontribs) 16:28, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Add {{subst:submit}} (including the curly braces) to the top of the submission and save it.Alexrexpvt (talk) 16:32, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, how can I upload the company logo please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enusi (talkcontribs) 17:08, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The company logo is likely to be copyrighted, and Wikipedia's policy on non-free content states that non-free images must be used in at least one article; a draft is not enough. So you should not upload the logo before the draft is accepted. Afterwards, you can use the File Upload Wizard to upload the logo; please remember to add the requisite fair use rationale.
On an unrelated note, your draft doesn't show that GaiaTransparence has received significant coverage in reliable, independent sources such as news pieces or maybe reviews in trade magazines. Such coverage is necessary both to establish the company's notability and to allow us to verify the draft's content. Huon (talk) 17:28, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If I decided to remove my proposed article Wilipedia talk:Articles for creation/Compliant bonding at this time what is the proceedure Yield3 (talk) 22:53, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you just want to withdraw your draft from review, you can do so by removing the topmost instance of the "{{afc submission|...}}" template. If you want it deleted entirely, you can nominate it for speedy deletion by adding {{db-author}} to the very top. Huon (talk) 01:03, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Wikipedia Help Desk,

Can I have some more guidance on exactly why my article (Ribal Assad) was declined by the site so that I can make the necessary amendments.

Any assistance you can offer beyond existing notes on reliable sources is appreciated.

Best regards,

Wikipedia content must be based on reliable sources that are independent of the subject. YouTube videos are user-submitted without editorial oversight and thus usually aren't considered reliable, Wikipedia itself isn't a reliable source either, odf-syria.org and iman-worldwide.org are the websites of organizations founded by the article subject and thus not independent, and the comparatively few remaining sources either don't mention al-Assad at all or take the form of interviews, al-Assad talking about al-Assad, not quite as independent as we'd like. Furthermore, there are severe neutrality problems when the draft claims that as a child, al-Assad "was surrounded by democratic influences" but omits the inconvenient fact that his father, Rifaat al-Assad, is described by the Independent as a likely war criminal and the "Butcher of Hama". In short, it's unduly promoting al-Assad based on his own writings while ignoring everything else that might contradict the happy tale it spins. Huon (talk) 01:03, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
