[edit]In creating my article Richard Konicek-Moran, I somehow put 3 drafts in the line for review. The last draft is the complete one. How do I take the first two off?
Thank you,
KathleenKonmor (talk) 02:00, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
- I don't see the problem. According to your contributions you only created the one page, there's but a single draft on that page and there never were duplicates. Unfortunately I had to decline the draft, though, because it didn't cite any reliable, independent sources such as news coverage or published reviews of Richard Konicek-Moran's books. By the way, if, as your username suggests, you are associated with Konicek-Moran, you may want to have a look at our guideline on conflicts of interest. Writing about topics you're closely associated with is discouraged because it's hard to maintain a neutral point of view. Huon (talk) 21:37, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Help!
[edit]Help!
How do I find feedback that Ritchie333 gave my article for creation...
It was in February about my AFC - Aleksander Werner.
Also how to I move my Aleksander Werner article from my Sandbox to make it an AfC? Can I keep working in there? Finally I think I have resubmitted again, there was a green message telling me that, then it disappeared - has my article been submitted again?
Sorry I am new. At least I remembered my ~ this time!

- Ritchie333's feedback has been archived; it is now at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk/Archives/2013 January 28#Review of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Aleksander Werner. And your draft is already at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Aleksander Werner; it had been moved there back in October. It was not submitted for review; I have now submitted it for you. You can do so yourself by adding
{{subst:submit}}
to the very top. However, entire paragraphs are still unsourced, and some of the sources, such as the press release, are not the reliable, independent sources we're looking for. Huon (talk) 22:15, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
I hope it gives you satisfaction to delete someones work: As I have mentioned before, I am the author of the text, and I have authorized the Biennale foundation to publish the text, that we have provided them from Land Art Mongolia. Please read before you delete, thanx — Preceding unsigned comment added by Parbat de Cuir (talk • contribs) 17:35, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
- Firstly, that article never passed through Articles for Creation, so this technically isn't quite the right place for the issue. You might be better served at the general help desk, or you may want to directly contact the editor whose edits you disagree with (in this case Ktr101).
- Secondly, the Biennale Foundation's website says, "Every effort has been made to trace and acknowledge all copyright holders, but if any have been overlooked inadvertently Biennial Foundation will be pleased to make the necessary arrangements at the first opportunity." They say the source was "The Land Art Biennial Organizing Committee". Unless that's a one-person committee, that doesn't sound as if you personally own the copyright. Besides, even if you do, Wikipedia would still need confirmation that you, Parbat de Cuir, are the person who holds the copyright, and that the text has been released under a free license. Since for rather obvious reasons the Organizing Committee is not a reliable, independent source, it might be easier to rewrite the content immediately than to bother with licensing what we would have to rewrite (and what by now largely has been rewritten) anyway. If you are associated with the committee, you may also want to read our guideline on conflicts of interest. Writing about topics you're closely associated with is discouraged because it's hard to maintain a neutral point of view. Huon (talk) 22:15, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Links to torrents
[edit]I was reviewing User:Zeeshanaayan/sandbox which had several Afc submissions on the sandbox page which I declined. Afterwards I noticed that several were links to a blog which then appears to link to likely copyright infringing torrents. What is the policy about what to do? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hal9000w (talk • contribs) 23:48, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
- While I don't think Wikipedia would be in legal trouble for these links, I'll remove them per WP:ELNO. Huon (talk) 23:59, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
