Hi,

I would like to understand why this article was declined in order to edit it a second time in a right way. Could you please give me indication where there is mistake?

Thank you in advance.

I've had a look at the three references. The exchange wire source looks like a press release, which is not independent coverage we require for articles to be notable and pass. The Red Herring source seems to have a one line mention of the company, which is not significant coverage. Only the Next Women source looks like it might be independent and significant, and given it's got a large picture of the company's CEO, I'm suspicious of that. Your article doesn't really say much about what the company is or what it does. Every startup company in the world gets funding, that's nothing special. Why is this company special? Why should we pay attention to this one above and beyond the majority of companies? Those are the sort of questions you need to ask.
Incidentally, your username suggests you are editing on behalf of a company, which is not allowed. You need to get your username changed ASAP - see Wikipedia:Changing username for instructions. If you don't do this, you may be blocked from editing. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 15:52, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-profit organization

[edit]

Good day. I just want to ask if how can i put our office in wikipedia, i tried it a few times but it keeps deleted by other author... its a non profit organization and we just want to put it online at wikipedia website...

  • You didn't say what your organisation is. In any case, writing about your own organisation is fraught with perils - it's generally impossible to do so without a conflict of interest. Has your company had major newspaper, magazine or book pieces written about it numerous times, each one covering the office in great depth, and all receiving major nationwide distribution? If the answer is "no", you're probably going to struggle to get an article created. Sorry. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:52, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure this article is actually submitted for review- at the top it says it is not, but at the bottom, it says it is...

Submission declined, no reason given?

[edit]

I submitted Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Iowa Employer Benefits Study for review. It was declined early March, and I heavily edited it with the help of an experienced Wiki user before resubmitting. I hadn't received any notices, and when I checked back today the "waiting for submission" blurb at the bottom of the page was gone. I assumed I had made an error in resubmitting, so I resubmitted. Within hours I received another decline stating "nothing changed since last decline."

Can you please tell me what other changes should be made to get this article approved? Thanks! Bcoppoc (talk) 18:33, 4 April 2013 (UTC)BCoppoc[reply]

I believe the decline message may have been a mistake on the reviewer's part, but the draft still relies heavily on sources that are connected to or written by Lind, such as the Current Health Care Coverage Marketplace report or their own website. The Employee Benefits Advisor article looks like a good source to me, but you make very little use of it. The "Methods" section doesn't cite any sources at all. Hello,

I have an article waiting for review. It's been about 10 days now. Could I get a sense of how long it will take? Thank you! Turvill (talk) 19:08, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately we're severely backlogged at the moment; the oldest unreviewed submissions are from March 7. Please be patient.
On an unrelated note, you have multiple copies of your draft on that page and should remove the outdated ones to avoid confusion. Huon (talk) 20:05, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Submitting an Article for Creation Currently Not Working

[edit]

How come I can no longer submit an article that I recently created or edited for approval? I have been trying all day, but all it does is save the article. It doesn't actually submit the article for approval. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pattybodymusic (talkcontribs) 19:19, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have submitted the draft for you, but I don't think it can be accepted in its current form. All your sources are either written by people directly associated with the song, or they're Wikipedia (which does not consider itself a reliable source), or they're just list entries without any details. We'd need multiple articles about the song, published in newspapers or reputable music magazines. Huon (talk) 20:05, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
