[edit]As far as I can see from the Wikipedia guidelines, my article does meet the 'at least' two verifiable sources to satisfy the notability requirement. The reviewer does not seem to accept the 7 (seven) sources cited as reliable. Despite the inclusion of the subject in three independently published volumes and multiple mentions on .org websites. I am unsure what objective standards the reviewer is applying to her/ his decision. Any guidance on how these multiple sources do not meet the Wiki verifiable requirements. It seems that the reviewer is making a decision based on some other criteria than the Wiki requirements.

- Notability is different from verifiability. For a summary of notability requirements you can see the golden rule here. Taking a quick look at your article, I see he (or his work) may have been talked about in-depth in a book (source 1). The reviewer is probably looking for better evidence that Durkin has been talked about in-depth in independent reliable sources. I'm not entirely convinced either. You could always look at the Wikipedia notability criteria for artists, in WP:CREATIVE, to see if Durkin meets any of them. Sionk (talk) 13:34, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
How do I upload an image
[edit]how can i upload an image to my created articleMarkDafoe (talk) 13:03, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- If you want to add an image to your article - you need to upload it to either wikipedia (at WP:Upload) or at Commons (at [1]). Or you can use WP:Files for upload. You just need to add the code to your article to display the image. - Happysailor (Talk) 18:35, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Dead Hand Projekt article.
[edit]Hey I'm just writing about the Dead Hand Projekt article I tried to create you didn't let me do it I don't fully understand why I haven't been able to make it, I have permission from the band themselves to use there pictures and information I can e-mail it to you if that will help I would just like to know how I can continue in creating this page? Thank you. Kind regards Dale.Joeyyy666 (talk) 13:08, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and it only allows articles about music groups that are important or well known. You will need to show good evidence (like reviews or articles in magazines and newspapers) that the band is widely known. Your article doesn't have any sources other than the band's website - self-publicity doesn't count towards notability.Sionk (talk) 13:39, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

I'm having trouble figuring out how to get back into article draft Vincent Capital Group to make edits. When I click the only "edit" button I can find it only takes me to my references list. Leaddog1969 (talk) 15:43, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- When your on the page, look for the Edit tab at the top of the page (See pic). This will open up the whole page for editing, rather than the references section. - Happysailor (Talk) 18:27, 1 May 2012 (UTC) ok ---- made contact with A412 we understand what your saying ---- maybe you can write sUPEREDsUPERED into wikipedia if not oh well we will wait for someone to do by love sUPERED IIIII11111IIIIIsUPERED 23:14, 1 May 2012 (UTC) IIIII11111IIIIIsUPERED 5112sUPERED IIIII11111IIIIIsUPERED 23:15, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Article not accepted for insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject manner". I don't understand this as the information is only supposed to become part of an existing listing of King George V Fields in the UK. It is to be a new section to that, in that Derbyshire county does not already have a section. There is nowhere in that listing to put more context? Ward.sage (talk) 15:47, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- If the content of your submission is purely as an addition to an existing page, you can either be bold and add it yourself, or start a discussion on the talk page regarding the content you want to add. The Articles for creation process is usually for the creation of brand new articles. - Happysailor (Talk) 18:29, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I submitted the article Wikipedia talk:Articles for Creation/International Capital. the reviewer commented that it doesn't fit the Wikipedia criteria. I read the Wikipedia criteria and got familiar with the writing style and tried to apply it. But apparently I didn't do a good job. Can you give me more concrete advise in what is not ok with this particular article? Maybe give some examples? Thanks a lot! Kichererbse29 (talk) 17:29, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- A larger problem with this article lies in the fact that given the references provided, the company does not appear to be notable. See the guideline on corporate notability. To prove notability, provide reliable, independent references that discuss the company in detail. A412 (Talk • C) 22:30, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Just posted a new entry - how do I add an appropriate photograph?

- At the time of review the submission was a copyright violation. Now that you have changed the prose, it isn't. The submission is lacking references and cannot be accepted at this time. Please see Referencing for beginners and add some references. Once you have done this, you can re-submit the submission for review again, by following the instructions on the big pink template. Help me! Im not getting what to put in references.
[edit]Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/TheTrafficFeeds
My article was not submitted due to errors. One error is that, put something related to SUBJECT and second one is about references? I'm not getting what I am suppose to put in these two sections? Where I am going to write Subject? Help me please — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anam90 (talk • contribs) 19:56, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- The issue is that the subject of the submission does not appear to be notable. Unless other people have written about this website, in multiple, reliable sources, then the submission cannot be accepted. See WP:VRS Pol430 talk to me 19:42, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
Why is this article declined? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.180.203.153 (talk) 22:22, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- Because it has no references. These are required for the article to comply with the verifiability policy and, because this article is about a living person, it will be held to higher standards—per the BLP policy. Pol430 talk to me 22:38, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Why is this article declined also? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.180.203.153 (talk) 22:24, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- I've Accepted that one, as it does have references and the individual is notable. Pol430 talk to me 22:42, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Dear Help Desk Person:
I need guidance and can not seem to find how to ask correctly so as to get answers. When I revise and save that which appears to have been is saved is not what I just typed. For example, I just consolidated my submission and saved the following:

[recommended Title Bruce Clark (Legal Scholar)] <Template nowikied> {{AFC submission|||ts=20120501233357|u=WLawpsh|ns=4}} <end of nowiki> Bruce Clark (1944-present) is a whistleblower against the one power against which there currently is no appeal: the legal profession and judiciary. He has attempted but never been permitted to argue in Cite error: The Since 1972 Clark’s persistent warning to the profession and society has been that this invasion by the administrators and guardians of justice has no remedy under the rule of law precisely because they as an institution control the legal process. For this reason, he suggests, the crime by invasion of Cite error: The Clark's view is not conventional wisdom; neither is it politically correct, having earned him a conviction for criminal contempt of court, imprisonment and disbarment, all for the express and explicit purpose of Cite error: The Nevertheless he Cite error: The Bruce Clark's degrees include a doctorate in comparative law jurisprudence concerning indigenous peoples from Aberdeen University; a master of arts in North American constitutional history from the University of Western Ontario; and a bachelor of laws also from U. of Western Ontario. He was called to the bar and licensed as a barrister and solicitor in 1971. His publications include the books Cite error: The Although his position politically is controversial there is no jurisprudential controversy with regard to it, certainly nothing published in the academic press or quasi-academic media. The reason for the lack of such criticism is attributable to the finite nature of the primary sources: the governing constitutional clauses and their original authoritative constitutive precedents, although obstructed and ignored for political reasons, are few in number, clear, plain and manifestly irrefutable for strictly legal purposes. The reason there is no academic or professional literature proselytizing imperialism under that name can only be conjectural, of course, since one can not conclude from the absence of evidence of support that a topic is not supported. Even so it seems safe at least to suggest that imperialism so thoroughly was discredited in the aftermath of the 20th century Nazi endeavour to compete with the British empire followed by that empire’s ignominious global collapse that that overt empire-promoting is best done, if at all, by deeds less than words. There are any number of proxy states of the American empire as there have been with previous empires and these, the same as with the head office itself as it were, can be expected to censor and suppress exposition of the conflict between constitutionalism and imperialism. Indeed the whole experience of Bruce Clark from imprisonment to disbarment was based no evidence whatsoever with regard to alleged gravamen of the charge of criminal contempt of court for supposedly persisting in raising a critical constitutional question that, according to the convicting judge, had previously been addressed and discounted on its merits in every of the some 41 courts that previously he had raised it. The judge did not provide a citation or quote from any unreported court record. No such citation or unreported judgment exists, precisely because the reason for judgment existed only in that judge's mind. There is no court record and, if what he said were true, there would have to be: the courts to which he referred were all courts of record, of course. The independence of the legal profession is the cornerstone of the rule of law as conceived in western civilization although even that turns to wet putty when the legal system is asked to defend the constitution against the empire. Certainly an example was set of Bruce Clark but in the long run the example may turn out to be the best evidence of the crisis posed by empire to constitutional democracy under the rule of law. Va tacito e nascosto, quand’avido è di preda, l’astuto cacciator. E chi è a mal far disposto, non brama che si veda l’inganno del suo cor. [When intent on his prey, the clever hunter moves silently and hidden. And he who wants to do evil is not eager that the evil in his heart be seen.] Handel, Giulio Cesare Other institutions vie for the role of scapegoat with regard to the genocidal ethnic cleansing of the North American continent such as the Christian religion, industrialism and biological pathology. But the legal profession and judiciary’s contribution is more silent, deep and deadly than any of these. Footnotes May 1, 2012. WLawpsh (talk) 23:33, 1 May 2012 (UTC) |
But what now appears as having been saved does not say the above. The footnotes are half missing and so are the words that are being footnoted.
This confuses me.
Thanks.

- You appear to need a crash course in Wikipedia markup. Please see Wikipedia:Cheatsheet for basic instructions on how to use Wikipedia markup to 'code' your submission. You currently have two different pages, of very similar text submitted for review. Because you have submitted your work for review, the page you should be working on is Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Bruce Clark not User:WLawpsh/sandbox. Please tell me which of these two pages is the version you are currently working on? Also, please do not remove {{reflist}} templates. That code is needed for your footnotes to display correctly.
