How do I create references for a doctors facility that I'm trying to make an article for? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sm.newyorkdoctorsurgentcare (talkcontribs) 14:32, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Submission of a new article...

[edit]

Hi,

I am still trying to figure out how to complete the submission process and not quite sure whether the article has been reviewed or not...

I am trying to submit the article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/James_Doherty_Review

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jd2510 (talkcontribs) 21:19, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The submission has already been reviewed. If you are trying to resubmit it, add {{subst:submit}} to the top of the article. A412 (TalkC) 22:59, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Help Desk,

My article on Canadian Idealism has been declined again. The reason given is that it lacks proper references and seems like an opinion piece, but the content is drawn from a book that has been published by a university press and has been peer reviewed. That book is properly cited in the entry. Can someone please tell me who the editors are at Wikipedia and whether they have suitable credentials to make these decisions? I'm not clear how this works. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmeynell (talkcontribs) 23:59, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article should be neutral, striking an encyclopedic tone. But, after just a quick look, the article currently is written very subjectively, as if it is an opinion piece. Balance the article, by eliminating the "we's" and "our's," and I am sure that you will meet a more favorable review when you resubmit. Dalisays (talk) 00:27, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
