[edit]The people listed here are considered as significant for the representation of Arminianism or significant within the Calvinist-Arminian debate. The list contains two types of people:

This group excludes, Arminians believing in eternal security, Semi-Pelagians, Pelagians, Open-Theists, and Annihilationists or believing in Purgatory (see Arminianism#Preservation_of_man).
- "Quasi-Arminians": This group includes notable Christians opposed to the tenets of Calvinist soteriology. It includes moderate Arminians ("4 points" Arminians, believing in eternal security). It includes Arminians who have partially taught or considered other ideas : Arminian with Semi-Pelagians leanings. It includes Open-Theists when their soteriological base is "5 points" Arminianism, and Annihilationists or believing in Purgatory. It excludes moderate Calvinists ("4 points" Calvinists, or Amyraldians) and Pelagians.
This list is non-exhaustive and contains presently 787 names. They should all be included into the Arminianism wikiproject. However only the Arminian biographies shall be tagged with categories such as: Category:Arminian writers, Category:Arminian ministers and Category:Arminian theologians.
