WikiProject Animation aims to improves all articles about animation, including animation studios, animators, animation directors, animated television series, animated films, animated characters and so on. However, we acknowledge and are grateful for the work of other projects in the field, and will reserve the majority of our attention to that content which does not fall within the scope of other active projects. Currently, it has 23 work groups, 26 members, and it has over 22,900 articles and pages within the scope.
After long discussion with WP 1.0 Editorial Team Assessment by Fortdj33, the use of the No-importance for redirects and disambiguation pages is determined that has been opposed in favor of NA importance following the deprecation and is currently no longer in use for the banner with work groups, and 3 other projects including WikiProject Comics and WikiProject Nickelodeon.
The article Red vs. Blue was undergoing a featured article review back in August and has been delisted due to referencing, coverage and prose.
Homer Simpson is a fictional main character that appears in the animated television seriesThe Simpsons as the patriarch of the eponymous family. He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta and first appeared on television, along with the rest of his family, in The Tracey Ullman Showshort "Good Night" on April 19, 1987. Homer was created and designed by cartoonist Matt Groening while he was waiting in the lobby of James L. Brooks' office. Groening had been called to pitch a series of shorts based on his comic strip Life in Hell but instead decided to create a new set of characters. He named the character after his father, Homer Groening. After appearing for three seasons on The Tracey Ullman Show, the Simpson family got their own series on Fox that debuted December 17, 1989.
