The project contains task forces, which are established, formal groups for collaboration on specific topics within Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms, as well as -1 working groups, which are informal clusters of editors working on a single topic within a task force.
Task Force Proposals
[edit]Task forces currently proposed are:
- Mercia task force: a sub-project aimed at bring forward articles relating to the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Mercia, helping to bring 10 of these articles up to featured status by the end of 2010. Articles covered by this task force can be found under Category:Mercia.
- Anglo-Saxon settlements task force: an initiative aimed at listing all Anglo-Saxon settlements of England, providing foundation dates and etymologies. Articles covered by this task force can be found under Category:Anglo-Saxon settlements.
- Sub-Roman England task force: a sub-project covering the period following the withdrawal of the Roman empire and the establishment of the first Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. Articles covered by this task force can be found under Category:Sub-Roman Britain. A WikiProject European History/Sub-Roman Britain task force already exists, but it is uncertain that this is live as it is not listed on the parent project page, which is itself undergoing major reorganisation.
