Wasn't the guy I thought was the answer, as I did check on him - and misread the stats! So yes he is half the answer, David Johnston being the other half. Two (in a football sense) very unremarkable players, each around 50-60 games over 6 or 7 years, but both got drafted in the second last mid year draft in 1992 - most of the 1993 selections were from outside the AFL.
