Conversation at WikiConferenceUSA 2015 On 11th October 2015, Wikipedians gathered at Unconference session to discuss WP:WikiConnect. India is having huge potential to contribute and Indic Languages need special attention. Indic Languiage Wikipedia communities are relatively small and need expansion. Reference issue - Some Indian articles have reference in Indic language website, difficult to verify. Lack of awareness - Many Indians in U.S.A might be interested in editing Wikipedia. Possible Solutions Focus on 'cultural pride' - Encourage people to write about their culture. Workshops for special interest groups. Partnership with educational institutes.
