Leonard Shapiro is a South African artist who enjoys intervening in everyday social situations in order facilitate a response from members of the public.[1] Originally trained in the social sciences, he is currently studying Art Theory at the Michaelis School of Fine Art. He is particularly known for his unique portrait drawings[2] and public art projects.
Education
[edit]Shapiro received his Bachelor of Social Science degree (BSocSc) from University of Cape Town and is currently studying Art Theory at the Michaelis School of Fine Art.[1]
