If you hold the copyright to an image (e.g. you photographed or drew it yourself) and would like Wikipedia to be able to use it, you will need to release it under a free license, such as the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-alike license, which allows everybody to use, alter, and redistribute your work for any purpose, including commercial use.
