- 202 - Lets get going on Project #17! The-Pope (talk) 12:19, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
- 178 - and the initial surge is on - 10% done in 4 hours... can we finish it in 2 days? A look at the list shows plenty of Iranians... anyone speak Farsi?The-Pope (talk) 16:44, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
- 168 - encountered a group of hard-to-source Saudi princes, so slow going for me tonight.--CharlieDelta (talk) 20:57, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
- 157 - And updating the letter board, lots of letters down already! --joe deckertalk to me 01:48, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- 150 - Y --joe deckertalk to me 16:55, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- 122 - struggled through a group of Iranian footballers, politicians and academics.--CharlieDelta (talk) 22:12, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- 110 - working on S--CharlieDelta (talk) 09:01, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- 93 - S done apart from one PROD, one copyvio and one Saudi Prince, Sultan bin Saud for whom I cannot find any sources. You'd have thought there would be something, but this needs another pair of eyes. If anyone does manage to source it, perhaps you could sort out the other royal Saudi football fans at the same time.--CharlieDelta (talk) 20:21, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- Crikey, that looks tough, but I'll take a shot at it. I was all convinced I could find him through his dad, before realizing that his dad had over 100 children.... --joe deckertalk to me 20:28, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, I have something. [1] this looks like the same person in Arabic, which I tracked down through the enormous list of King Saud's sons in the Arabic wikipedia. The Royal Guard claim in that article ties into claims in this book [2] of a Sultan bin Saud who had a similar position. Awfully sketchy. I've added the relevant links to the WP page, but feedback appreciated. --joe deckertalk to me 20:53, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- Good enough, I think. He clearly exists and that's a reputable publisher. Thanks.--CharlieDelta (talk) 21:05, 2 April 2011 (UTC)

- 68 - Cleared out F as best I could. Yikes. --joe deckertalk to me 17:04, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- 49 - Looks like folks cleared out K and L, we're more than 3/4s done! --joe deckertalk to me 23:48, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- 36 - Cleared out M and N --joe deckertalk to me 14:55, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Note: With 22 at deletion, there are really only 14 left to go! --joe deckertalk to me 15:09, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hey, can anyone make sense of whether Omprakash Singh and Om Prakash Singh are the same person? The career spans don't overlap well, etc., but ... I'm honestly just not sure. --joe deckertalk to me 16:21, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Joe, I wonder whether User:Shyamsunder who created the Om Prakash Singh article and who appears still to be active might be able to help?--CharlieDelta (talk) 20:08, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- I think they are different people. Looks like opposing political parties (Samajwadi Party vs Bharatiya Janata Party), to start with. There's also a gangster with the same name popping up in the GNews hits. Haven't found any RS for Omprakash Singh yet and the article's a mess.--CharlieDelta (talk) 20:29, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah. The article is in fact a mess. I did find a ref, with a quote that I had to pull out of the Google books search results since it wasn't visible in the text, but it does confirm "MLA of party X", which is something. --joe deckertalk to me 20:56, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
