About the event
[edit]Help design beautiful anatomy illustrations to fill the gaps in body diagrams in Wikipedia!
Session 1 will be identifying body diagrams that are missing from Wikipedia. These will then be created by our volunteer illustrators. We will meet back in 2 weeks for session 2: Uploading the illustrations to Wikimedia Commons with relevant metadata and linking them in to Wikipedia.
At this event, you'll learn to edit Wikipedia using the new and easy-to-use Visual Editor. Full training will be provided.
Participants should bring a laptop or tablet – be aware that editing is much easier with a keyboard. We recommend you create an account in advance. (You do not need to use your real name should you not wish to.)
Some digital skill is needed – but if you can use Microsoft Word, you can edit Wikipedia. Google Chrome or Firefox is recommended.
