Course information[edit]
Course description[edit]This course provides an understanding of diversity as a subject of scientific discovery in general, and of diversity within the microbial world more specifically. Participants will be challenged first to develop a broad perspective on what the subject of diversity involves from a scientific perspective and then to explore the concept of diversity as it applies to microbes. Note: “microbe” is used in this course as a synonym for bacteria; viruses and eukaryotic microbes are not considered specifically.
