AP-1 Binding Site
[edit]This article is currently characterized as a stub on Wikipedia. It only has one piece of information on it with one reference. The reference is cited incorrectly in text. In order for this article to become a good article, it will need a significant amount of information added with correct referencing. In addition, it should be written well, and with diagrams is possible.

[edit]Heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) internal ribosome entry site (IRES)
[edit]This topic is currently classified as a stub with a basic introduction to heat shock proteins with just one reference. It also has an external reference link with exactly the same information as present on Wikipedia. For this to become a good article for Wikipedia, more detailed meaningful information should be added. Along with the content, more references should be used in order to create a more complete and reliable.

Spermatocyte
[edit]This article has also been deemed as a stub due to lack of detailed content. It does have some pictures showing the histology and process of maturation of the spermatocyte however there are no citations listed. In order for this to become a good article, some detailed, well-structured information needs to be added referencing reliable sources.

[edit]Differentiation-inducing factor
[edit]The article is considered a stub. It lacks a bulk of information. There is only one reference listed but it is not cited anywhere in the small amount of text. For this to be a good article it needs the addition of a lot of meaningful, well written information. Also it needs sources that are correctly referenced.

Nondisjunction
[edit]This article is currently classified as 'bigger than a stub'. This means it has some meaningful information however it needs to be elaborated upon. It has onely 1 reference listed. Its sources are still unknown because it lacks inline citation. To build upon this article it needs more detailed and precise information along with more precise citations.

Article Selection Rationale
[edit]The article on AB5 toxin has been classified as 'bigger than a stub' so it has some meaningful pieces of information available currently however; we would like to expand upon this to benefit the learning community even more. As avid researchers, we don't feel the rating of 'low' importance by molecular and cellular biology wikiproject should lower our curiosity for this topic. By means of the talk page, we would like to initiate discussions about this protein. We also hope to elaborate various aspects of this toxin and have thought of adding an infobox with some key information. This infobox would contain information from reliable external sources for example the protein data bank accession numbers, the crystal structures of A and B subunits separately via NCBI structure database and much more. In addition, images or diagrams will be added in order to help readers visualize the protein.
Some Additional Topics to include in the Article

- 2. Details about A and B subunits
- 3. Examples of this toxin from various species
