Is this translation necessary re: requestor's reason for wanting to have this translated? The difference between era and period is semantical in this context -- the Japanese 時代 translates as both, so it is truly reader's discretion. Okipatrick 05:24, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- I don't really see a need to translate this article. Okipatrick is right - it's just a semantic battle, and I would think that someone might see it as a WP:POVFORK, even if that's not the original article's intention. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 13:11, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
