Basic Interactions
When making changes to Wikipedia articles, it is expected that editors will explain their changes briefly in an edit summary. You should fill in the small box beneath the edit window with a phrase such as "copyediting" or "adding a reference", so that others will be able to follow the history of the article when they click on the "View history" tab.
