Technical problems forced some improvisation using other tools to make this list, and probably the next for time being. A new Netflix show about a convict takes the top spot, and the Oscar nominations also take up some space.

Rank Article Class Views Image About
1 Aaron Hernandez 3,140,504
Netflix released Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez, a documentary about this troublemaking American football player who got arrested for murder (#15) and killed himself in prison.
2 Taal Volcano 1.160.275
The huge English-speaking population of the Philippines emerged to check on the second most active volcano of the archipelago, which erupted and caused some flights to be cancelled.
3 1917 (2019 film) 1.129.060
Everything Dunkirk should have been, a gripping war film that never becomes boring (and with its one shot gimmick, that's a feat!). Sam Mendes goes to World War I to tell the story of a soldier who goes through the trenches and wrecked cities of the Western Front to deliver a message, and is being handsomely rewarded, including 10 Academy Award nominations (#12).
4 Crisis on Infinite Earths (Arrowverse) 1.068.920
Once DC Comics was getting too confusing and newbie-unfriendly in 1986, they reset the continuity with the crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths. And the Arrowverse seemingly didn't reuse the name for nothing for their annual television crossover, as it also rebooted everything while setting up the series finale for the show that names the franchise, Arrow.
5 Tanhaji 988.473
Ajay Devgn stars in this Bollywood war epic that has been raking up the crore.
6 Morbius the Living Vampire 954,465
Michael Morbius, an award-winning biochemist imbued with pseudo-vampiric superhuman abilities who eventually becomes an adversary for Spider-Man, is the subject of a movie (#8) that just had its trailer released.
7 Meghan, Duchess of Sussex 810.448 Splitting character and movie is another split, the "Megxit" that had Prince Harry and his wife deciding to resign from British aristocracy duties.
8 Morbius (film) 779.780
Repeats of the not very beloved events that were Sony making a Spider-Man villain movie without the Webhead and Jared Leto as a comic book villain are due for release in July. Although the trailer had the surprise appearance of the Vulture, previously seen in an actual Spidey flick, so who knows what Morbius has for us?
9 Parasite (2019 film) 774.362
Along with being a favorite for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film, this acclaimed dark comedy by South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho got a few other Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.
10 Quique Setién 737.999 FC Barcelona's new coach, poached from Real Betis.
11 Joe Burrow 724.339
From English football to the American one, LSU rode this quarterback to win the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship, so expect him to go pretty high on the 2020 NFL Draft.
12 92nd Academy Awards 688.496 AMPAS has issued the Oscar noms, spearheaded by our #3 and #16, plus a bunch of Netflix productions, with a few surprises good (Ford v. Ferrari getting its share of recognition!) and bad (no love for Dolemite Is My Name? Rocketman and Frozen II only nominated for Best Song? The Lion King up for Visual Effects?). And film fans will have to rush to see the nominees before the ceremony, given it's less than a month away, in February 9.
13 Elizabeth II 684.780
A few days after Olivia Colman won the Golden Globe for playing Her Majesty in The Crown, Elizabeth was back on the public eye due to a grandson and his wife (#7).
14 Deaths in 2020 678.494
Don't expect me to cry
Don't expect me to lie
Don't expect me to die for thee
15 Murder of Odin Lloyd 664.675 Our #1 went to prison for this, as he was arrested for supposedly killing this friend of his (who was dating his fiancée's sister) back in 2013.
16 Joker (2019 film) 639.444
As put by Honest Trailers, "a film the media set as too dangerous for you to see, which made audiences way more excited than regular marketing ever could have, cruising its way to a billion dollars on a $55 million budget" is also showing its value in the awards season, and is the most nominated movie in the Academy Awards, with 11 nods. Though it's far from the favorite, even if star Joaquin Phoenix might follow friend Heath Ledger in winning an Oscar for playing the Joker.
17 Joaquin Phoenix 617.677
18 The Witcher (TV series) 610.447
Geralt of Rivia continues to enthrall on Netflix, and by extension this list.
19 Jimmy Johnson (American football coach) 579.874
One of the few coaches to win both a college football national championship and the Super Bowl, who currently works as an analyst for Fox, Johnson has been announced as an inductee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
20 Rocky Johnson 550.089
The Rock's father, also a wrestling star and even played by his son in That 70s Show, died at the age of 76 of a heart attack.
21 Bad Boys for Life 548.180 Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return for a third round as bickering Miami cops, and in spite of (or because...) the absence of director Michael Bay, Bad Boys for Life got surprisingly positive reviews to go along with its opening atop the box office.
22 NikkieTutorials 546.448
This beauty vlogger came out as transgender.
23 Donald Cerrone 538.123
While the efforts to down one Donald started, only one fallen Donald entered the report, namely the one defeated by Conor McGregor in his return to UFC.
24 Chhapaak 537.375
Bollywood told the story of Laxmi Agarwal (portrayed there by Deepika Padukone), who after suffering an acid attack as a teen became an activist against this violent act.
25 Luka Magnotta 534,052
The subject of Netflix docuseries Don't F**k With Cats, responsible for a few kitten deaths and a grisly human dismemberment.
