Kareena Kapoor (born 1980) is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood films. She is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. Kapoor's achievements include six Filmfare Awards, four IIFA Awards, and three Screen Awards. Noted for playing a variety of characters in a range of film genres, she has established herself as one of Bollywood's highest-paid actresses. After making her acting debut in Refugee (2000), Kapoor established herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema in 2001 with her roles in Aśoka and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.... This initial success was followed by roles in a series of commercial failures. The year 2004 marked a turning point for her when she played a sex worker in Chameli. She subsequently earned wide recognition for her roles in Dev and Omkara, following which she starred in Jab We Met (2007). Kapoor achieved further success by featuring as the female lead in four of India's top-grossing productions—3 Idiots (2009), Golmaal 3 (2010), Bodyguard (2011), and Ra.One (2011)—and received praise for her roles in Kurbaan (2009) and Heroine (2012). Married to actor Saif Ali Khan, Kapoor's off-screen life is the subject of widespread coverage in India. (Full article...)

Support - major birthday of prominent figure. sovereign°sentinel (contribs) 04:51, 6 August 2015 (UTC)- Comment - Again, we don't look at nationality when considering the most recent similar article. Otherwise things get just too specific. Most recent actor article was Red Skelton on 18 July. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 15:48, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
- Yet that does not make any difference (but I shall keep this thing in mind) – a gap of two months are enough for an article of same type to appear as a TFA. -- Frankie talk 19:09, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
- I never said it made a difference. Nominators need to know the proper way of figuring out the most recent similar article. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 08:24, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- Like I said above, I shall keep this thing in mind in future. Thanks Crisco. -- Frankie talk 14:51, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
