Reasons for nomination: April 22, 2020 will be the fiftieth anniversary of Earth Day. This year will feature big events, and will be quite unique as the first Earth Day to be entirely (or almost entirely) celebrated online. It'll be great for people to see what is happening and connect with the moment, even if we're physically isolated.
